Who We Are – Austin’s Body Transformation Coaches
Hi! My name is Sean and I started my personal training career at Bally Total Fitness and received my training certification with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) which is widely considered as the Gold Standard in personal training certifications. After years of feeling pressured to meet sales goals to sell training sessions, I realized I wanted to focus more on helping my clients get real results instead of just making sales. That’s when I decided to start my own personal training business.
By the end of my time at the big box gyms, I was proud to earn the title of Master Trainer, which is the highest honor for a trainer at a gym. After leaving the corporate world, I opened my own personal training business in Pasadena, California. My business did very well for many years, but when Covid hit, I had to shut it down. Most of my clients were afraid to return to the gym, and I was not able to fully recover from that loss. I stayed in California for a few more years to support my son until he graduated from college in the fall of 2025. After that, I decided to move to Austin, Texas to start a new chapter in my life.

Why I Focus So Deeply on Fat Loss
One day, while I was working out at a well known corporate gym, I saw a woman in her 40s that was above average size walk into the free weight area. It was clearly obvious that she was unsure of herself and did not seem confident in her workout. That’s also when I noticed a group of younger guys watching and snickering at her, which she caught wind of. That’s when I decided to step in to see if I could help. I walked over to her and introduced myself as a personal trainer and offered to help her if she was interested. She told me her main goal was to lose 70 pounds of body fat. She had already tried many fat loss supplements, workout machines from TV ads, and several diets, but nothing worked. Seeing her struggle made me feel sad, and watching others make fun of her bothered me. I spent the next hour showing her around the free weight area and how to use the different machines properly.
